I know this probably has been discussed numerous times, but i wasn't able to find it anywhere. I've also searched the internet for torque specs...but haven't been able to find it either.
Thanks,
Brad
I guess just stock torque output for like two mid 80's (carbed) and possibly two late 80's/ early 90's FI. If you have anymore info besides torque that would be great also.
Thanks,
Brad
The 302 is a great motor, in a car. It has an over square design and was intended to be used in light, fast sports cars where it really shines. If you're looking for low range pulling the 302 just doesn't have it.
Ok those numbers are very helpful. I just recently purchased a 76 f150 300-6 4 spd to use as a plow truck. I also own a 93 f150 5.0 5 spd and a 94 bronco 5.0 auto. I haven't had the plow truck long enough nor towed anything with it yet to compare it with my two 5.0L's. I haven't been very impressed with the gas mileage or the tugging power of my 5.0's though.
