Good morning all, I have been meaning to post for a while. When I am accelerating about 2/3 throttle My check engine light flashes. I have an obd 2 scanner but it doesn't pull any codes out. Also, the plug I am suppose to remove for the tranny temp sensor is rounded off had my dad try and it won't move a bit. Is there another place I can put the sending unit.

Generic ODBII scanners cant read all of the psd codes.
If I had to guess by your mods I would say it is probably an ICP High/Low code due to the chip calling for more Oil pressure than the HPOP can provide.
It could also be the pressure is reading higher than what the PCM is expecting for the given rpm, pedal position, and speed. You will need a scanner capable of reading the Enhanced Powerstroke codes to be sure
How long does it take to set the light. I believe it takes 7 seconds to set the P1211 code from HPO. If it takes less than that, you may have a bad MAP sensor setting it.
Thank you for the replies.
I have not timed it. Are you talking from a stop till when it flashes? Could it be backpressure? I have been wanting to upgrade the exhaust to an actual 4" or 5" system but it is the off season so money is a little short.

A new exhaust won't help with backpressure like you think. If you are getting the backpressure high code, it's caused from the sensor and tube being plugged with soot. The tube comes from the front of the passenger's side manifold and leads up to the front of the engine where the exhaust backpressure sensor sits. The clogged tube throws a high backpressure code, even at less than WOT, and defuels your engine. You can remove the sensor and knock the soot off, and also take a long wire brush and run that through the tube to clear it out.
