Is this a guess, if not how reliable is this information?

100% guess. Based on current prices and adjusted for new hardware and inflation.

For comparison...

I drove a new 2007 King Ranch yesterday just for the fun of it. They would have let me have it for $46,500 out the door. If I finance through FMC, I would receive an additional $1,000 off making the truck $45,500 OTD. The only thing that was missing on that truck was DVD entertainment and nav systems.

I'm hoping the '08 will be similarly priced. Trouble is there will probably be no rebates available for a while so that in and of itself will tack on $2,000 to the price when comparing to '07's.

Guaranteed no rebates and you wont get the 0% interest for several years on these new ones..... So by the time you are done you could spend over 10,000-15,000 more for the 6.4.............

I was speaking in terms of MSRP. If you build some of these dually KR 4x4 w/ chrome package and 6.0 they get ridiculously expensive. I personally couldn't justify these trucks without the A-plan. Even then its a stretch. I could live with a ranger or 150 but would have had to rent a trailer and SD for a couple jobs.

One of my local dealers told me that the 2008 F250 should be cheaper than the 2007. Exact same model comparing sticker to sticker. Now the 2007 should have more rebates. This is the first I have heard of them being cheaper though

I noticed the price change from 2006 to 2007 was nominal. as far as the 2008 I was just told the pricing is to be set Friday. (Fingers crossed)

OH no that never happens...........Right
Everyday it's tomarrow or next week.
I think I'll just wait till I see one on the lot with a window sticker. I think thats the only way we will ever get a strait answer to the price question.

Not possible for the 08 to be less. Your dealer is just trying to get you back in when they get there!!!!!!!!!!! Inflation is rising at around 7% so will the price of automobiles. With all of the changes to the 08 "skies the limit"

There is no way it is going to be a $10,000 dollar option. They would not sell any trucks. You can not beleive any dealer until it is on paper. My dealer said it would be $2,000 cheaper. They have no idea.

Correct all speculation and no facts. But to use common sense it will not (read my lips) be any cheaper than they are currently. Just the particulate filter will cost thousands more, and the extra turbo $$$$$. QQQ if you can get one for $2000 less then jump onit. Using that theory the 2007 6.0 would ba a $2000 increase over the 6.4 untill they are all sold.... NO way. Your dealership might have ment the 6.0 trucks will be $2000 less than the 6.4...
