Truck bed

I looked at a trailer made from a pickup bed last night. The owner said it was a '50, but the bed sides did not have the raised area by the fenders. Wouldn't this be a '52? Hey truckfarmer it is over by you if you are interested. I turned it down, and ran into a complete '52 truck later in the evening from a farmer near me.

Truck bed

It could be a mid-50 or later. They changed the bed sides from the raised panels to the smooth sides in 1950 and used it until 1952. Only the F-2 and F-3 retained the raised panels thru 1952.

If you have the money you can by it new. Try LMC, MACs, Dennis Carpenter, Concourse parts, Mid Fifty, etc. You might even try looking at JC Whitney.

I'm pretty sure you can by a 2' square patch panel all the way up to the entire floor.

A new floor panel for the bumps out of LMC is under $100 I assume the Dentsides would be about the same price.
