The length of the column is major.

They do not interchange easily as the steering column shaft and tube would have to be cut and welded back together.......from I have been told...a real non-no.

all the other parts of it can be used though .

so what do I wire my aftermarket AMP gauge 2? I am in the process of building a custom dash, and also need the wiring diagrams for both clusters light and gauge, Mil, u got em?

That is on the mainly Printed Circuit or on the cluster itself.

An aftermarket ammeter will have a shunt on it.

Why don't you just install a Voltmeter instead of an ammeter ?
