E-bay find
I've just won an auction for a 48-51 Ford and Mercury Truck chassis part cataloque.

It's hard to find the Canadian versions as they contain the Mercury trucks also. The American ones pop up every once and a while.

It contains vehicle diagrams and part break downs.


It's coming all the way from Australia. Ford Canada shipped a lot of trucks overseas.

The diagrams and part break downs will be handy. Funny how alot of this ends up in far away places.

A fellow FTE member from the 48-60 forum found me the 52 supplement on E-bay. I now have the complete collection.

So if someone needs any 48-52 diagrams or instructions give me a PM (I should have both books in a week)

I got my 52 chassis supplement book today. It's in pretty good condition for being 54 years old. I was watching a '51 Mercury truck owners manual on e-bay and it went for a $100!

That`s too pricey for me. I hope a 56 Mercury truck manual comes up alot cheaper than that, I`m not in a hurry at that price except to get out of the way.

ya my 56 manual is a reprint of an original but it was only $33 US + shipping

Being that it`s a Mercury owner`s manual it`s rare and the Americans seem to love Mercury truck items.
