Russ...LOL Son!!! thought you'd get kick outa that!!! LMAO!!! just kidding ya bud!!! hope ya get your info soon! The guy here in Ct that was gonna do my 406 said they were easier than the oem caps and cheaper for machine work.

Bob that's a sweet car for $2000!!! I like the 65 Comet calenties (sp?) too. There was a nice one in HR mag a few months ago paired with a 64 Fairlane. The Comet had a 347 stroker and the Fairlane a 427 tunnelport. Both were built as pro street cars and mighty fine lookin.

Thanks for postin the link!

Wow that's a nice 65!!! And viper red too!!! Thanks for the links Bob!! Those are all some nice cars!

Yep Russ I'll talk it over with him and see what's what. I'm chomping at the bit for a nice project tho!!! Your bud did very well on the 63 Gal he had. I think we had disscussed him wanting $4500 for it??? $6k was a good deal for him!!! That Fairlane sounds liie a nice car too!!!!

So many cars..so little cash LOL

BTW that 67 fastback i was watching went for $11K!!!!! I think the most I ever paid for a mustang was $500 and that was my old 67 Shelby GT500!! man those were the days huh?? I was hoping that Mustang would hover around $6k. Dan was gonna go look at it for me till i saw the bidding going wild!!! LOL. Guess not?? LOL

There is a beautiful 61 Starliner with a 427 s/o that Kerry J posted a ebay link to over at FordFE.com. It's at $11k now but man what a nice car!!!!

So Russ are ya still thinkin about running the Edel heads??? Yea Les is $500 but he's good!!! You'd still come out better with him doing the port work over a KC CNC job! Nothing like a master craftman with a die grinder in his hand!!! He's good!!! Your C4's were a work of ART!!! I wish ya still had em.

Russ; you should of made rubber plugs of the ports in those C4 heads to compare vs stock.

I can see it now, a Edsel Ranger in the 12's.

Yeah G, I'am going to go that route with the heads 320cfm for $500 vs $1000 for 330 from KC.......Yeah but my C4's were only 300 which is DAMN good for Iron FE's but I need that extra 20cfm to try and make my HP goals...

And Carl your right..I never even thought about that! I was just thinking that Les was talking 320cfm Gauranteed out of a 2.090 intake valve...and he forgot then I wanted the 2.150 intakes in there? So I wonder how much the CFM will pick up then? Hmmm

Larry I'am Glad you got the Link..Just thought it might be something you or one of your buddies up there might be looking for..the price seemed very reasonable for the Trans?? I cant afford those tranny's that cost as much as the motor does to build..BTW hows the Old Injector system coming!! Last time I saw it..you had just media blasted it I guess or ultrasonic cleaned it..and it looked like new!

LMAO G, I'll take all you can thro this way!! and I think the Edels will be ok with head studs...and a flat hardened washer on top the stud and below the Nut!

Larry I'am sorry to hear that about the injection....It would be so cool tho! Oh a question?? I read in the other forum..that it makes no sense lowering the floor of the TW to the port on the EdHeads? I would think anyway..it would interupt the consistant flow dropping of a dam like that? any thoughts?
