1997 460
i have a 1997 350 w/ the 460 and its an auto. what can i do to get some more noticeable power out of the 460?im at about a 1200 dollar budget for the motor upgrades. im going to need some power to turn the 35's im putting on next spring with the 4inch lift im going to buy at the lima truck show, any info appreciated thanks.

$1200 is about right for new gears front & rear. With bigger tires in the future, that's the first thing I'd do. You can soup the motor up all you want, but if you aren't running the right gears for the tire size, it's a waste of money.
