trying to convert to split manifold

I have a straight 6 (300) out of my 79 F100. Im trying to find split headers. I heard Fenton makes a quality cast iron set but cant find them anywhere. Any suggestions for finding Fentons or other alternatives? I can split after the headers but the sound is no where near as good.

you can use EFI manifolds they are split. you can run duals from these or use a Y pipe from someone like walker.

Check in the Exhaust forum...it deals with exhaust systems.

The guys down here in the Inline 6 forum deal with that all the time.

Im rebuilding my inline 6 ( 300 ) out of my 79 F100. I want to get split manifold headers and was told that Fenton used to make nice cast iron ones. Im having a hard time finding them . I can split after the headers but the sound is no where near as good. Any suggestions ?

Clifford's makes them.

edit: sorry, Clifford's are just regular longtube headers.

IIRC, Fenton headers looked a lot like the later split manifolds, not really tubular headers.
