haha thats what i get for talkin on the phone and posting...thoughts got mixed up, anyways
yes it will work, its a bolt in swap.....if your 96 has a ttb 50 front(most liekly) you can use the hubs off of the 50 to convert the 60 to a srw front .....easy swap...you just need the trac bar, the mount and the steering linkage from the 350....also the driveshaft and yoke at the t-case if the 250 is stock height
ok so ill have to get the trac bar the mount and steering linkage from an f350 when u say steering linkage do u mean the part that comes from the colum to the box or the bar that goes from knuckle to knuckle cause i have the bar that goes knuckle to knuckle and you say i need the yoke and driveshaft because my truck is stock hight
steering linkage meaning the tie rod (the bar that goes between each tire, to 'tie' them together) and the centerlink (the part from the steering box to the tie rod)
you need the shorter f350 driveshaft if your stock height because the pinion on the 60 is longer, thus less driveshaf tlength.....you could shorten your curent one but it is easier if you can just botl the 350 cv shaft and yoke in
