Computer Failure
Could a flash programer cause a computer to fail?
My glow plugs won't work and whin I pin test system flow chart says PCM
also when tuner is on 60hp or up truck surges Baaaad.
When surging codes are set for injector pressure sensor and and controler.
No code when stock.

well well well. a flash programmer cannot damage a pcm, just change the eprom. it can cause a improper flash which can cause alot of stuff. i see you have a 03, not a good year to have the wrong tuner on. contact your manufacturer and see if they have a update for your truck. you will need it if you have had any flashes done within i would say last year. ford has done alot of tweaking on the 03s and this is liable to be your issue. no, as far as the gpcm, i have replaced alot of these modules because they crap out. make sure your connectors are in PERFECT shape, no locks broken and no pins not securly locked in the connector. give all the wires a tug to make sure all are ok. you the connectors are damaged, you can pick up a service kit at your local dealer and you can just replace the hardshells, if all are ok i would say bad gpcm before pcm.
