We need to start trying to keep threads on topic. With the number of people we have posting now it doesn't take long for threads to spin off topic and lose what purpose it was intended for.
OK, fair enough.
So I'll start a new thread with my 1,000th post, and just generally use it to give a hard time to some of the great folks I've met here on FTE.
Scott - you're nuts and I'm gonna find you that hood ornament...
Brad - You're also nuts, but generally a good sport. Sorry if I get a bit carried away picking on your age...I have no idea how old you are.
Ryan - Your obsession with rattle cans is hysterical. You're a good egg.
Codyschmoe - Your slow truck is truly an inspiration. Keep going, eventually it will look like a Peterbilt.
Vince - Your wealth of knowledge has been an invaluable resource for a lot of folks around here. You are an inspiration sir. (Even if you did spend more on that tool box than I did on my last five automobiles...)
Doc - Once you decide whether you're building a mud truck or a rock climber, it will be impressive. Thanks for stopping at the KC meet on your way to Kansas.
Tom - Can't wait to meet ya. Thanks for your help on the little car.
Todd - You are absolutely insane. And yes, I know how much I resemble that remark. You are good people. Eventually, you'll get that truck down the quartermile in less than 10. Keep going!
NOTE: This thread has absolutely no aim or intent other than to celebrate my 1,000th post via generally bashing the crew...feel free to return fire...
Ryan - You are by far the coolest, smartest, best looking guy I've ever been around. It almost hurts to stand in your glorious presence, but the honor of being around you greatly overpowers any misguided jealousy. Thanks for being an inspiration.
After seeing that magnificent truck in person, I can say, I am truly impressed and humbly apologize for any mistaken criticism regarding said magnificent truck....
