Lightbulb Cross Canada Relay

Well, since no one offered to pay for gas for Dennis's idea of a cross-country road trip, how about we take a Ford truck or FTE memento and send it across the country relay style? Everyone could transport it for a stretch and then take a creative picture of the memento with their truck and post it up.

Any thoughts?

Also looks like Dennis and I are the only ones who go on vacation...

That's a unique idea and a good one. Nothing like a road trip and a little fun

If we get some more interest I can organize it. So far we have only 4 people in. That's some pretty long legs on this relay!

I was thinking that there is a lot of long legs, especially in some of the places. I don`t know away around that one right now but I`m sure there has to one. It`s a mtter of getting enough people involved, afew long distance truckers would be great and fairly quick.
Know any mail trucking companies or just the truckers themselves? It`s a neat idea if we can find away to make it work.

I'm subscribing to this thread just to see where it goes. My truck isn't great on the highway right now, so I might not be much help if it has to be transported in a Ford.

One of our Man/Sask members mentioned about coming thru from Man. going west. I`ll check to find out, he may have done it already. That would be one step.

I'm in. But I'm down here by the Windsor area so it probably won't come this way.

sounds good! Although I'm gonna need a fundraiser for fuel costs. High performance motor just eats up the fuel! Just kidding. I'm in!
