FOUND SERIAL #... NEED HELP

FOUND serial number on the right front of the frame on my 55 pickup... shows "K" for Kansas City... number is 20020... i was told most car companys start the production numbers with a 1 or 2 etc. as the first number of a run of vehicles...can anyone help me with that information???? what number did that run of pickups start with..THANKS.... mike

FOUND SERIAL #... NEED HELP

if you get a LMC truck catalog they have a vin decoder in the front pages. I have also found many decoders online at ask.com. Hope this helps you out
