abs
I have a late 99 f350 psd. The abs lite is on and the brakes are not working correctly. The code on my tuner read P0603* internal ctrl mod KAM error. Can anybody interpet this and give me an idea where to go next and what to do?

From the PCED:
The ABS rear diff sensor fault should not, in any way, have affected you normal hydraulic brakes.

MA1 CONTINUOUS DTC P0603 IS SET WHEN THE PCM HAS LOST KAPWR
NOTE:
This code may have been caused by disconnecting the PCM or the batteries.
l Possible causes:
-- Battery or PCM has been disconnected.
-- Battery cables loose or poor connection.
-- Battery discharged.
-- Open in KAPWR circuit.
-- Blown fuse.
-- PCM.
l Check for other codes.
l Key on, engine off.
l Clear DTCs.
l Cycle key off, then on.
l Perform retrieve Continuous DTCs.
l Was DTC P0603 present?
Yes
GO to «MA2».
No
Intermittent failure, unable to duplicate. REPAIR other DTCs as necessary. If none, testing is complete. RESTORE vehicle. CLEAR DTCs and RETEST.
