Which temp Thermostat
Have an 86 with a 5.0. Runs cool, from what I have heard, too cool. There are two different thermostat temps to choose from, 180 or 195. Which one am I looking for. I live in San Diego, CA, almost always nice, can get HOT! Not sure which one to get, 180 turns on earlier but what is the most efficient operating temp?

195 is the one that was most likely installed at the factory.
You can double check this by asking most parts stores and/or Ford what the original factory temp is for your engine.
Living in California, I know you have a computer system, so it is a must to replace your thermostat with the Original Equipment temperature one.
