How insane...????

How insane/rich/mechanically inclined would someone need to be to pull the 6.9 diesel out of an '85 F250 and put in a gasser???

not too much money and some skill would be required... all depends on what you have to start and what you are gonna drop in

Depends on what gasser you plan to put it in. If it's an '85 it would be a whole lot easier than if it was a '99.

i dont know. i bought a 86 f250 that used to have a 6.9 in her. when i got her she was just a cab and bed with 4 wheels to roll on, nothing else. i dropped a 400 in her with a c6 and did alot of rewiring, plus had to go to the bone yard to get a set of engine mount stands to bolt on for the engine to set where the 6.9 and had to relocated the oil filter. i did this a lil over two years ago not know nothing about what i was getting myself into and no where as much as i know today. but if the truck still had the 6.9 in it when i got it i would have left it
