Aero turbines

Has anyone heard of these or use them? I purchased a pair of them from a friend who installs custom exhaust systems. Luckily i was able to get them at cost, cause they are very expensive. Just wondering if anyone has these also. I love the sound. It has a very deep rumble on my car.

I don't buy into their outrageous performance claims (it's jsut a freakin' exhaust tip), but my buddy had one on his Montero and he loved it.

I fail to see what's so great about those mufflers....jet engine technology? How does that improve performance? They can put all the gee-whiz bells & whistles they want inside a muffler, but in the end it's just a restriction.

Well i dont know, I have been running them all year on my torino. They sound amazing and are very loud. Much louder than a flowmaster. I just wanted something different. I didnt pay anywhere near the full price for them, not really sure if i would pay that much for a muffler. I was just wondering if anyone else was running them.

another thing, These are not exhaust tips, they are basically a glasspack without the packing, is the best way i could describe them. The internal tube is full of baffles etc to restrict the flow.

I think they are as good as anything else out there so far as flow/performance/sound are concerned. But I don't think they are "head and shoulders" above anything else, like their marketing suggests.

My buddy's Montero sounded pretty good for a V6, but I haven't hear a big V8 with one.

They're probably the equivalent of a one-chamber flowmaster, then...
