It's doing pretty much the same thing here, just misting. they are saying that its just going to rain for the next few days, but no snow. That sucks about your 98 Jake. Good luck with the intake leak! Oh yeah, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Well, it got a little icy last night. I guess tonight is supposed to be the worst, so we'll see. Hopefully we still have power, it just blinked at about 12:00!!!!!

OBTW - the dealership presurrized my system, and they didn't find any leaks.......so I guess we'll watch and see who's right
31 Dec: Well, there's a change!
Yesterday it was 49 and rainy, bout near perfect. Got up this mornin and there's at least 4" in my driveway.
I didnt waste any time. I got the truck started and went out. I have new tires to field test, after all. I thought when I bought them that if they didnt brake on ice too good I'd just get them sipped but I think they're fine.
I think the outdoor painting season officially ended.
Calling for more "winter fun" out here this weekend. Sounds like freezing rain Thurs night and Fri. Snow Fri night and Sat. Oh boy!!! I can't wait. We just got power back Monday night from the storm 2 weeks ago. We have a 15kW generator from a guy my dad knows to get us by when we didn't have power. Sounds like it may be good we didn't return it yet!!!!
Yeh Patrick I think Minnesotans are used to severe cold an snow. Its 8 below here but not much wind an not to much snow on the ground. I remeber one winter where we had the same teperature with a 40 MPH wind an ablizzard going on. All in all not to bad. Hope you have a garage for your vehicles or can plug them in. Spring will be here before you know it.
Well the last few days have been pretty nice out here. A bit breezy, but I'd rather have 40 and 20 mph wind than 5 and 20 mph wind!!!! It sounds like it's going to take a change for the worse come this weekend though. I guess we'll see what happens. My brother and I are going to try and get the old snowmobile running......if nothing else just for something to do. Wish us luck (Darn 2 strokes anyway........)
Feb. 21st: Weather at least getting a bit warmer up here ( 41 degrees). Actually melting some snow, not that we have had much, but when it does snow it takes forever to melt. Only supposed to rain up here this weekend, but when has the weather guys/gals ever been right. It'd be nice to get paid to be wrong. Anywho..... can't wait til spring.
