Airbag light, '90 Taurus

OK, so this stupid light is blinking non-stop now. I've had rounds of on again, off again, including pulling the dash (2x) for the heater core. From subsequent reading I've learned some of the newer Mustangs have a diagnostic port for re-setting the "clockspring". Does such a thing exist for the '90 Taurus?

TIA, Mike

Don't know, but that thing is overdue to have the SRS system checked over thoroughly.

SRS? I just want the stupid light to go away. I've always been served well by the seat/shoulder belts, I don't want a Stupid person's Restraint System.

Seriously though, what are we talking here; a $600 repair on a $100 car? That's why I work on my own. Any recomendations on where I can research this?

TIA, Mike

Actually, the concern is more to not have the airbag suddenly blow up in your face.
If you're just concerned with the light, and not the prospect of explosion, then just pull the bulb.
If the horn and cruise still work, though, then chances are the clock spring is fine and the lgiht is on due to a sensor, module, or airbag problem.
