Cps problem?

My truck has been surging and from time to time gets a rough idle.Last night while accelerating from a stop the engine shut off for a second and then fired picked right back up.It went completely down.Power steering was lost and everything.Any ideas?

Did you get it running yet?

Was it also kind of shutting off for a split second then starting itself back up?
Then sometimes dying altogeter?
This is what mine did I think the CPS is dead.

I did replace it and got it running.It was shuttin off and starting right back up on its own.That 10mm bolt was super tight! busted a socket taking it out.It still runs a little rough as usual so I'm still trying to figure that out.

This is what mine was doing until it quit running at all.
Im changing it tommorrow.
