Was in Fargo on Friday for the shopping thing and was getting ready to leave town when I had the priviledge to pull up along side a 53-56 panel truck. It was maroon in color and very nicely done. It is always nice to see one of the old machines brought back and being used. It gives me more inspiration to work on mine. The only thing is that there is a priority list and the 50 F-1 is third. It has worked up one notch so hopefully that is progress.
I know what you mean, I went to the Goodguys thing in Phoenix last week, it makes want to set fire to your own stuff or work a little harder. Hopefully it's the latter. Thanks for the post

I don't even have to go any where to feel this way, I just look at your guy's photo gallery's (lol).
I agree with 428cobrajet if i get a little bit rattled or discusted when i'm workin on my 50 or things don't seem to be going as fast as i'd like. I just walk off and come in and read on here for a while and things don't seem so bad. I get all fired up and go back out and putter around for a few more hours. You peopl have some great lookin trucks. The best thing is you'v done them yourselves and not had them done. There is a big difference...... RUSTY
Now axe is that any additude at all? My problem is that I am woking on everyone elses toys and don't get to work on mine. I finished my boat after eight years this last summer. My wife's Z-26 is done now and I'm working on her 74 Fiat 124 Sport Spider. After that I have to complete the 68 F-250 of my son as a daily driver. Then I can work on the 50. Yes it all takes time and money but it is the time of planning and the hours of accomplishing one step at a time that makes it all worth it. Enough rattling on. They are all great when finished.
Yah, the difference is we have too little money and even less good sense!
I'll agree with AX on this one, but I know that if I bought a new truck I would have a torch and welder working on it within a week . I'm never satisfied until it fits my needs exactly.

I agree you guys--I get disgusted when I see the galleries and my trucks are still on the disabled list.If money grew on trees,I would still work on my trucks myself!Maybe then I would pay someone to do brakes--hate brake work--ha ha!!but nothing like seeing an old ford truck on the road, that makes a man want to fire up the compressor.
