If you click on panorama underneath the pics it give you a quicktime of the shot in all directions, (pretty cool), but how is this done? I was thinking a still was made from a video, but I see no stitch marks and the focal length doesn't look that extreme. Is there some sort of Photoshop add-on that does this?
My Olympus does panorama up to 5 frames, but it's nothing like this. I GIS'ed Quicktime VR and a bunch of hits turned up. Looks like I found what to ask Santa for this year...
My camera and software will do 360 now. Landscapes are easy. Take some shots and stitch them with the software, then clean up with photoshop.
Some of these shots on the other hand....Taking multiple shots in a crowd of people, (that aren't stationary), and not only splicing that, but splicing the ground and the sky - with cloud details; that's something else. Maybe it's just really hard..
