steering/Shift column diagram
hey everybody, just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a diagram of the shift lever area for and auto trans 93 f350 diesel?? my lever "broke" and i only have R-N-D, very sloppy, just wiggles up and down until i move to put into gear. i can not get into any other gears...i'm asking about to look at a diagram because i;m not familar w/ this column, so please if you know any info hit me up, thanx

I think most of the dealer parts departments will give you a print out of the parts diagram for the area you are talking about which is generally pretty good. It should at least give an idea of what is in there.

I had a very similiar problem with my 1996 F250. I took the cover plates apart, and starting seeing more and more stuff either lose or broken. I then grabbed what I knew was broken and headed to the local pull it yourself junkyard. This away I could see how it was installed and how it looked myself. Just a suggestion, but mine is working great now. No more problems. I have heard that this is a common problem. Good luck.
