trailer special

On the 78' 4x4 what is the package? I've only seen the options list for 4x2. By oil cooler, do they mean auto trans. oil cooler? Don't all 4x4 auto trans. have aux cooler? Why do the 4x2 460's have such big long coils in the power steering?

This is all I have for the 78 towing package..right from the brochure.

They are the same.

Yes they mean Auto Tranny Oil cooler. Ford insisted that you have a Automatic to tow trailers. Towing a trailer with a manual transmission would void your warantee.

Not sure about the 4x4 questions thereafter.
