my 05 f-350 won't start, it cranks fine but won't fire up. it has no codes and all I can come up with is the cam and crank reference are out of sync when I preform a self test. Also injector control preasure is only showing 14% but I think that is because of cam and crank reference. Any ideas?
I read the following on another site (may be of some help):
The symptoms of a high pressure oil leak include:
• Cranks / No start
• Long crank to start
• Stalls and wont restart
• Wont restart hot but starts normally when cold
Monitoring the ICP parameter during cranking using a scan tool will verify low or no injection control pressure. The engine will not start until the PCM reads 500 psi from the ICP sensor and a low reading at this time will confirm a failure in the High Pressure Oil System.
Common failures are the injector inlet O-rings and the high pressure oil pump (HPOP) discharge quick disconnect fitting.
