boiling battery
Battery in my 2005 F-250 boiled over and is completely dead at this point. I'm replacing the battery just to get my truck rolling. What causes a battery to boil over? What should I check out to avoid this problem with the new battery? Thanks!

Thank you for the quick reply. Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is the voltage regulator is built into the alternator and would necesitate a new alternator. If not, where is the voltage regulator found on a 2005 Ford F-250?
