This thread will be allowed to stay up but people need to watch what they type on here. No need to complain about your truck in every thread. If you don't like your truck then sell it and go to a different forum. Let's try to remain civil. Thanks.

P.S. I hope you get your problem resolved with your truck.
if you have them, take the records of the previous times the truck was in the shop and go talk to the owner. Tell the maintenance manager first and he/she will try to avoid that. do it anyways. after 3 trips, it's time for the gloves to come off.
This is a real effective method. Just keep taking things up the pecking order. It usually works at the lowest man on the totem pole so his boss doesn't find out about the issue.
I've only had to do that once, and the owner basically told me to pack sand. I fixed his attitude real quick by contacting the regional manager to get my vehicle fixed under the warranty.
To back up your case though, you need documented facts about your multiple visits to the dealership, the actions they have taken and be sure to mention the price you paid for your vehicle and how unnaceptable it is that you cannot drive your vehicle. include safety in that discussion as well. These people have knee-jerk reactions to certain key words.
well its went back for its studdering and lost of power, called them today, and #4 coil was replace wed, now its bad again, so they are goin through all the grounds and tryin to figure out whats causing this.. said they might have to replace the whole computer.. anyways it sucks, there havin to keep it till monday, and the gave me a dang teal color escape.. :/
The last time I had repeat #4 failures, it was because the heater hoses were leaking. They are above #4 cyl, and when they leaked, anti-freeze would short out the coil. Putting a clamp on the hose fixed the coil problem.
Tommorow they're putting in a whole new pcm. Service manager said that will forsure fix the problem, he said it only missis sometimes, so it isn't a coil pack.. .. had the truck 12 days an have driven it 3.. but i still love it.. the best driving/riding/quiet automobile ive ever had, just hope they get it fixed..

Now that is the kind of comment that they are looking for. I hope that everything is going alright with your ride now. Remember there are going to be problems with everything out there on the market and when you produce over a million of that many of some thing, you are bound to have some problems some where. I am speaking of the number of these F-150 trucks that are produced every year. However the burden of fixing an issue is still on the dealer. On one last note........I do agree......they are the best riding, smoothest driving and quietest trucks on the road. I love mine. I hope that the bug is fixed with yours for good now.
