i Know rangers oround the same year and early explores have interchangeable parts other than that i dont know, and i was looking at the third seat belt thing to and it dosn't look hard if you have a belt kicking arond just bolt it in with the exsisting seat belts
i know that tail lights from an 88 will work on a 89. im sure there is a wide range of years on the tail lights. as far as the grill ford used two fifferent types. 88 an early uses the older type where you had to replace the whole head light and they had side markers on the fenders 89 and up used the newer ones where the bulbs only have to be replaced. i looked into putting a front clip from a 89 on my 88 but the fenders had to be replaced and that was more then what i was looking for at the time. the ford explorer has many of interchange parts for the 89 and up. as far as set belts just pull you a lap belt out of an old truck and bolt them on with you other two set belts. hope some of this helped
I saw a BII that had the 60/40 seat from a ranger put in the front with a middle seatbelt there. I've thought about doing the same cause I like bench seats more than buckets and the driver seats in both my BIIs are messed up. I supose that if you didn't mind the crowd you could have a bench seat up front with three belts and the back seat with thee belts.
Two adults and four kids in a BII now that would make for an interesting road trip.
