Does anyone know where I would be able to get the strips of trim that are on the upper door panels? you know, there is a strip all the way around, one piece on each side of the steering wheel on the dash, and the long peice above the glove box, and then one peice on each door panel.
My truck was customized by a conversion company or something, and those peices were replaced with wood peices. I dont like the look of the wood, and found that I can order the pieces for the dash from LMC truck, but they dont have the door panels or the trim peices for the doors.
If anyone has any leads or would happen to have the peices, I am looking for black trim, but it could always be dyed if it was a different color to match.
Any help here would be awesome! just trying to fix up the truck, get it looking good.
Several companies make universal simulated carbon fiber. I don't know of anyone who will have it in black. My old 89 XLT was stock with wood trim, and I think only base models had black. Worst case, you could find a vinyl sign shop to cut some black film for you to cover the existing with.
