We recently purchased a 95 F-150. 4WD, with the 5.8 motor. What do I need to look at when the ABS light flashes on the dash? Where is the sensor for this located or where is the main ABS control located?
I posted about this yesterday, and there was a little extra complexity because the truck also had a trailer brake wired in, but I unpluggged that for now.
Basically the brake lights are not coming on when I depress the brake pedal, and the ABS light is constantly flashing on the dash panel.

Bad fuses.

You have four sensors feeding the RABS Module, one is the Brake ON/OFF Switch (more than likely your problem), Brake Fluid Level Switch, Brake Pressure Switch and the other sensor is at the top center of the rear end (The VSS Sensor). It also has input from the RABS Valve assembly.
The RABS module must have a signal from the brake lights. I agree that your problem is probably the brake light switch under the dash at the top of the brake pedal. Once you get the brake lights working disconnect the battery for about 30sec. to erase the error codes and try it then.
The RABS module resets itself each time the ignition is turned off, so disconnecting the battery will not do anything but make you have to reset the radio presets.
Bill (subford), where is the pressure switch? Is it in the RABS modulator valve on the frame rail?
Oh ok, gotcha. I didn't even think of that. What did the older vehicles with the vacuum operated cruise control use for a brake pressure input, anything?
