Hello, new to the truck thing. Can anybody give the overall stock dimensions of a 41-47 Ford truck. Just the basics will do, length widthe, cab height. I have a very small garage and need to have room to fit the truck in it and work on it.
Also are the 41-47 cabs, boxes compatible? Thanks.

Mine fits in a one car garage but there's no room to work on it. my garage is twelve feet wide. The length on my garage is about two cars worth but the front half is useless for anything but storing tools.
I can measure the truck later if you really need to know how wide and long it is, but if you have anything less than a two car garage it's going to be rough to work on it.
The sides of my garage are lined with cabinets so if I got rid of those I would proabably have more room. I'm still looking to upgrade to a larger work space.
Don't let the tiny garage stop you, I've built many cars outside.
The boxes and cabs do interchange. As far as I know there are no major differences between the 40 cab and boxes and the 46/47 cabs and boxes. The boxes on the late fourties and early fifties, are different in apearance but also seem to work. My 46 has a box off of a fifty something on it. There are a lot of people here that can tell you a lot more about the interchanges than I can. I only know what I have tried.
