Front end swap

Will the front end from an '81 work in a '65. I know up through '79 does, but want to know about an '81.

No. Steering gear on different side of axle.

It will but you will have to cut both spring perches off and move them in. The rear was widened in 73 to track the I-beam front that was widened in 65.

Yea, I knew about hte spring perches, but wondered if it was gonna be a Dana 60. I know at some point they went to a Sterling.
