53 Hazard light wiring

Does anyone know how to wire up a four way flasher (hazards) in my 53 f100? I have a newer wiring harness but no provision for flashers.

If you're using the original column then you need to buy an after market blinker switch because your 53 didn't have emergency flashers.

I have a mid 80's GM tilt/telescopic column, so I have the switch on the column. Not sure on the correct wiring.

Ok then, I have an 82 Pontiac Sunbird tilt column in my 54 f100, you need to buy another flasher with 2 connections and run a full time hot wire to one side then pull your hazard button out and touch a hot wire on your wires coming out of the column until you find the wire that makes all your blinkers light up and hook that wire to the other side of the flasher thats it. I had an extra one that had 3 connections and they work to just use 2 of the connectors.
