Same deal here on the frame nip. The EGR was a PITA, but came out really nice using the original factory parts (it's a '99 only thing). Mine seemed to discolor REAL fast. First purple, then kinda rusty looking, but not positive it's rust. The truck is a plow truck so it see's lots of nice weather. Put mine on in January. Sounds nice - no rice. I think they sound the best on decel.

I'm on my second set of e-bay's now. The drivers side developed a leak in the back tube that curles around into the collector. I think it had rubbed against one of the other tubes. May have been a manufacturer defect. In my '01 2-valver I did notice a difference, especially in the responsiveness of the engine. I had a FM70 installed and a K&N intake.
Because of the thin walls of the header tubes, you can hear the exhaust exiting the valves on acceleration, especially at low rpm's under load, but it's not excessive. Sounds great when you wind it up above 3k, kinda like a race car.
