well my 82 stepside with a straight 6- 4 speed manual is finally running right after many trips on a tow truck, it stared when i got the truck, clutch went bye-bye,- first trip on a tow truck, put a new clutch in it, went to take it for a ride, blew a brake line which caused me to go through the neighbors fence, replaced the brakeline, blew another one, said fu** it and ran all new brakelines,
took it for a ride, wheel cylinder blew, replaced cylinders on both sides.
tried taking it for yet another ride upper radiator hose decided it didn't want to stay in one piece anymore, afte 8 different parts stores finally found on that had the hose for the "heavy duty cooling system" finally running but still didn't have much power, changed distributer cap and rotor, found i was running an straight 3 instead of a six, new plugs, wires and it has power again. and considering at my job i only get 1 day off a week i think i did pretty good in getting all this done in about a month and a half
