overheating
After 6 months of workin on the beast I finnally got her runnin'. The problem is that the old radiator was shot and couldn't be repaired. An old man gave me a radiator out of his 84 dodge ram. Now I thought it loked a little small but he said it would work just fine(mech of 20+ yrs) so we instaled it. Now the problem I have is serious overheating. I took the thermostat out hoping maybe I just installed it backwards adn went for a drive without it in. She was good for about 5 miles when she shot up pretty fast on the temp guage. I'm figurin' that the rad is too small. Anyone else got an opinion? please help my baby is imprisioned on the driveway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
