My 1988 Ford Clubwagon was broken into and my amplifier, subwoofer, CDs, and faceplate to stereo were stolen a few months back. When I was looking around and thinking about a new unit. I decided that a factory Ford CD player would be cool. I like anything that says Ford on it.
The question is:
What year and model Ford vehicles will have a CD player, the right size to fit in my 1988 Van? Would be better of with an aftermarket head unit? Do they have RCA jacks?
88 should be a standard single din. So most 70-99 ford radios may fit. As far as I am aware there are three sizes to head units, Din, din and a half, double din.
Factory radios will not have RCA out puts. You would have to add a line level converter or go with an aftermarket head unit.
