Been reading different opnions on oil, oil filters dont seem to be that much of an option (motorcraft or fram) which seem to be one in the same. I saw where somebody said when you change your oil that you only put 13.5 back in due to the fact something dosent drain, is this true? And my last question is about the fuel filters, what are my options if any?
Don't mess with quality on filters or you could pay dearly in the end. Use only motorcraft or International filters (racor is manufacturer) There have been other threads on this same question but because of quality issues it comes down to OEM filters for best protection. fuel filter #IH 1847170C92
On the 13.5 qts. This is about right. Fill with 13 qts and wait a few minutes. See where you are on the xxxxx on the dipstick. Where you want to be is around the center of the xxxxx. Add only 1 qt at a time until you get to this level. DO NOT go over the xxxxx as this will cause an overfill condition and high internal pressures.

Look in my gallery (scroll to bottom) and you will see pictures of the IH fuel filter box (part numbers shown) and what an OEM fuel filter (white media on large HFCM filter) looks like.
