The flag of the USA is the most beautiful sight to see on a flagpole. The Gadsden-Culpepper comes in second, IMHO.

I am not offended by it. I wish I had a bumper sticker that said it though and the flag. I have a magnetic ribbon on the back of my truck that says "Support Our Troops"

They had a knockoff here a whileback, Confederate flag that said "Does my flag offend you? 1-800-BE A YANKEE" No offense intended, just adding that in.

Offended? NO! Proud? HECK YEAH!!! I wouldn't feel the same for any other flag but the stars & stripes.

 

This reminds me of when i was in like 10th grade a kid wouldnt stand for the pledge. He made a big deal about it. Funny, i was pretty ignorant of what went on in the political world, and im not one to get worked up, but at that time i was about to beat his ***. He went on about how america sucks, so on and so forth. I was so incredibly pissed. I think the reason why i didnt beat his *** was because he was the biggest loser ive ever met. I actually did pitty him at times, he was the kind of kid you didnt pick on cause he was such a loser. After that day he was a prime target. He got hell the day he brought in a tape of sailor moon as a school project.

I think what got me so annoyed about it was the loads of ignorance that was coming out of his mouth. He didnt realize that some people take that very seriously, and he was just doggin america so he could get a little attention. He never left the country before but somehow he knew that our country was so worse than all the others? If you dont like it, then what the hell are you doing here? We dont want you anyway!

Sure, america isnt perfect, but until you can point out a totally flawless country that has never done anything wrong, then shut the hell up! Why is it that theres plenty of people willing to whine and complain about whats wrong with america, but they wont try to make a difference?! Which leads me to another thing. If you dont vote, dont come whining to me about something stupid that was done by somebody in office. Guess what? its your fault that happened. You did nothing to affect what happened. If you vote, then your opinnion actually makes a difference and you did something which is more than most. ARGH! Im not even arguing politics here. Its common sense. The way i see it, my grandpa went through HELL to give us the option to vote. He is the reason why im not ranting in german right now. And now i got all the punks just bitching about whats wrong with our country. Guess what? You make up the country also, and you are whats wrong with it.

If i had it my way, wed round up all the people like this old west style, and throw them in a huge field. From there, id chug a case of bud, blast the song war pigs, unleash a lord of the rings style war cry, and the mow them all down with my ford and its big *** brush guard. Man thatd be sweet.

Ok ill stop now, sorry, no that flag dosnt affend me though. I thought this was gonna be a southern pride heritage not hate style thing.

 

tell me about it, i can't stand those poeple that just dawg on America and say how much it sucks when they never even left the country before, and Canada doesn't count.

after traveling to over 40 countries and my wife being from kyrgyzstan, let me tell you, America is about the best all around country in the world.

I remember all day during 9/11, there was a guy who stood on an overpass over highway 35 in Dallas and waved the American flag to the endless honking of those going by.
