Did the intank mods over the last couple nights. Got it together and started my truck up last night. I opened the garage door in to the kitchen with the truck running and the wife says, "what did you do, it sounds like a regular car". I can't believe what a difference it made in the smoothness of the idle and the overall sound. I could even hear my fan when I stood in front of the truck. I could never hear that before. So, one down and on to the next CCV mod and looking at fuel pressure. Thanks everyone here for all of the previous posts on how to do this. I felt very confident in what I was doing because of all the experience I already had through reading in here. Very cool!
I just did the 6637 intake mod and the zoodad mod. It really makes a difference. The truck is smoother and has better pedal response. Thanks everyone for the awesome info.

Yeah, it's in-tank. When I first read it, I thought it said intake too....and I was thinking, how did and intake mod make it sound like a normal car and quiet it down? I had to re-read it to see he did the in-tank fuel system mods. It'm definately glad I did mine.
You guys are cracking me up. It was IN TANK, Hutch and Harpoon. When I did this I drained my tank and got 7 gallons out. I put that much back in when I put the tank back up. Filled up my tank yesterday. Went to 36 gallons before the pump popped. Wow! 43 gallons total now. Is that supposed to happen? Also when I ran my truck up to the gas station I noticed it took about a mile before it started to smooth out again. Is this typical?
Some people have said that after a while the cackle came back. I am interested in this mod cuz I get jealous when I drive my friends 03. You cant hear it sitting inside.
