I'm wondering how many different vehicles were using the M5OD ? especially in combination with the 2.3 litre 4 cylinder. I'm looking into converting the ranger pickup to a cable type clutch set up.
The 2.0 and 2.3 featured in the trucks, Mustangs, and TC's were different motors than the Pinto's. The pinto's were 2.3's, but they were a different configuration.
Way back when I owned the 86 Turbo Coupe, I had read that it was essentially a Pinto engine beefed up a bit and having a turbo, it sure looked like a Pinto engine but prettier. That is why I said Pinto 4 banger.
Is the Bell housing and clutch set up different from the TC to the truck engine? That's probably what this guy really needs to know and I definitely don't know the answer.
