Here's An Idea For U!

Here's an interesting concept.

My neighbour is taking a 1968 ford half ton frame and he is sub-framing a camaro front end into it. He's also installing the rear diff from the camaro on top of the leafs to lower it. He is then installing a 460 c-6 combo from a 75 half ton. Next is the body. He has a nice 68 f-250 camper special with a 360 c-6. This is the body he is installing on this project. It is blue and white two-tone and it is going to be his daily driver! He hopes to have it going by next spring and I bet its going to be a neat project. I might have to post some pics. and see how it goes!

Sounds like a nice project, the Camaro part I`m not too sure about though. I used an 80 Mercury clip on mine and a Ford 9'' rear end.
It will be nice to see pictures, keep us posted on it.

The camaro clips are supposed to be ok, but I would stuck with all ford stuff. Sounds like it will be sweet though!

He sold the 9 inch already, so that's why he figures he'll just use the camaro rear diff.
Now he will have a 68 3/4 ton frame with 360 c-6 and 410 Dana rear diff for sale. I think he might of even installed a 4bbl carb and intake on that 360 too.

What did you clip a marquis front end into? That sounds like the better idea to me, and I think it would be neat to check it out.

He also is using a camaro front end because he just happened to have it and figured it was just laying around anyway so might as well do something productive with it....
