Swaping Factory A\C
Im in the middle of a body swap and was wondering how hard it is to remove the factory A\C. The doner at one time had factory A\c they just put a pice of sheet metal over the hole. Thanks for your help.

If the hole in the cab of your donor truck has been modified and all you have to do is take the sheet metal off, than swapping the A/C shouldn't be a problem. Does your donor truck still have the A/C dash? If not than use your old A/C dash. You have to strip the dash down anyway to get all the A/C parts out, why not just use the A/C dash. AS your taking apart your old cab, just pay attention on where everything should go and it should go pretty smooth. Just takes time. It's when people have to make a Non-A/C cab an A/C cab is where more of a pain comes into play. You would have to cut that big hole in the cab for the box and also cut the A/C vents in the dash.
