whats the whislte when accelerating?

whats the whislte when accelerating?
has anybody noticed then when accelerating in somewhat of a fast pace you hear a whislting sound right before the engine goes into another gear, what is this or is my truck not supposed to do this i meen it there is no problem at all but wasnt sure of what this noise was....

if i were you i would first check out the air intake tube and just double check you don't have any debris in there that could be causing that whistle.

Those CAIs and K&N filters make a whislteing noise when at WOT, this is why some people don't like them, but this a also a reason why people want them(other than the fact that they give better air flow and create more power.

well i cant exactly rember if it did it before i got the K&N becuase i got the air filter about a month after i got the truck i wanna say it didnt thought becuase when i test drove it i dont think it did it, so my guess is it is the air filter...because nothing is wrong like i dont have any problems i just though that maybe everyone else's does this but apparently not. any way thanks for the help appreciate it!
