Hi all, Im am looking for info about a truck I bought.
It is a 1948 F5. It has a flathead 6 engine. I don't know what size it is. The bore is 3.32" Can anyone tell me where to get overhaul parts, and what size engine this is?

Dan,
If it's original it should be an "H" series 226 CID flathead with an original bore of 3.30". You should have a VIN tag on your truck with additional information. On the 48 I think it's inside the glove box.
WRT parts, Joblot Automotive (718-468-8585) has just about everything you would need for overhauling the engine. I'm sure there are other vendors such as Dennis Carpenter and Sacramento Vintage Ford that have at least some of the parts.
