Does anyone know if the Rotunda Diagnostic Analyzer does any more than the SnapOn MT2500 regarding diagnostic routines or anything proprietary by Ford? Tried a used one on my truck and appears to be very similar to my SnapOn.
Is it a Star or a New Generation Star? The New Generation with the proper updates can do a lot. Pds will do a lot more though. I own both of these, let me know if you need more info.
How much is it for Autoenginuity? I have been thinking about buying it. Is it worth the money to buy it?
That depends. If you are the kind of person to work on your truck then yes it's worth it. If you don't work on your truck then probably not. I think it's around $400 if you get the Enhanced Ford Package which really lets you interact with a PSD. You can monitor High Pressure Oil Pressure under load, monitor most sensors, and even output that type of data into Excel and post online.
For example, here I have graphed my ICP (Injection Control Pressure ) with RPM and you can see where I shift and how low my HPOP/ICP is under load. For max power I want somewhere above 2500 and was getting about 1400. I have since changed chips to a DP Tuner and that kept it more like 1900, but still not good. The lower graph shows my IPR % being way too high and also some MFD (Mass Fuel Demanded) info as well.
