Boost problem!

Hey guys. I am having trouble with my 06. I am not making the boost that I used to make. I have a BDog chip and I used to make around 32 psi and now I am only making 26. I brought it into the dealler without the chip and they are saing that it is fine. anyone have any ideas? there has also been a small amount of white smoke when I take off, but only when it is under load like towing or hard accel. any help would be great

thanks!

You should keep it under 30! Unless you got deep pockets.

I am just wondering why it isnt hitting the 32 it used to. I have 2 of these trucks and they were running about the same and now this one is having a hard time making the boost

Possible hole in Y pipe, egr fouled, ask Bowtiehtr when he's on here. He'll probably know or have an idea but he'll tell you over 30 is bad news.

It was not a constant 32 would spike and hold about 30 i also should have said that I have replaced the egr valve too to see if that was the problem. kinda expensive and still didnt fix my small smoking problem

i can't comment on what is normal as i don't know. but mine spikes to only about 26 per autometer boost gauge. so maybe mines i'll too but i don't wanna play with fire so 26 is fine for me.but then again my egr is unplugged so maybe that i unplugged it when i bought it

Mine spikes to about 26 as well, I thought you might want to stay away from above 30 unless you have a reinforced engine

The 6.0 has had issues with vanes sticking in the turbos at both full and no boost. When you brought it in, the dealer could have reflashed with the one that helps free up the vanes. Everyone is right, when you get over 30 it isnt right. We are told, anything over 23 is acceptable for stock configuration. Cant help you with your controller.
