I think its stupid that you cant search if you dont have 25 posts. I thought the whole idea of a forum was so people could search and find info without having to ask the same thing over and over again.
3 more posts after this one. I think you actually have to take off the piece of plastic that is under the hood but on top of the grille, and then go from there.
yup all those little plastic screws are the first trick to getting your grille out... after that.. headlights... and the rest is just a couple bolts.. nothing serious
Are you just replacing the entire front valance or are you doing a grille swap for a billet grille?
If you're doing a swap for billet, taking the front valance off is the easy part, it's notching out the honeycomb that is a slight headache. Just be careful when breaking the glue joints off, if you're not, you'll take some paint off the valance if you go too fast. **** poor design IMO. However, the newer style F150s are easy to grille swap so good job there Ford.

Yeah, no joke on the plastic screws/pins. The ones between the valance and the bumper are just too fun. You might as well head over to AutoZone and get yourself some replacement pins b/c you'll end up breaking the factory pins getting the valance off.
