catalog orders help

I have never ordered from a old truck pts catalog. Just received one from LMC thinking about buying a rear slider, steering arm tie rod ends, pointless ign, & clutch linkage bushings & misc stuff. I have a 65 4x4. I just wondered if most catalog outfits were close to the same or if there are some that are a cut above the rest. THANKS

LMC is a good place for parts, you could buy some of them from your local parts house and save some bucks. IMHO

LMC is 'average'. Not everything they sell is top quality. This is mostly to make them price competitive. For wear items I think they are fine. When you get into trim and patch panels, etc I would shop Dennis Carpenter or Carolina Classics. LMC does have a very nice catalog that comes in handy, and it's free.
